Log Max 10000XT is adapted to the toughest working conditions. It has a very large capacity in relation to its weight and size. The head is equipped with a top saw, which means that the head works well when processing felled trees.

• The entire frame is constructed of hardened steel and provides an extremely durable head.

• Our heads frames are made of Strenx, high-strength, high-performance steel from SSAB.

• The reason for using Strenx is to have the strongest, most durable steel possible while keeping the weight low.

• Find End is an option that is used primarily when working with felled trees, to find the root end or zero point on the trunk. Find End consists of a laser sensor that is mounted in the bottom of the saw box. It helps the head to identify the root end without using the saw.

• This function is especially important when working with felled trees, and saves both time and fuel as you do not have to cut the log to reset the length measurement.

• The AFC system is the key technology around which our heads are designed and allows Log Max heads to harvest trees with high precision and minimal friction.
