Features may include:

• To ensure the quality of the delimbing knives and extend the life of your Log Max head, the lower delimbing knife unit has been replaced at 3000T.

• The frame geometry is built to reduce bark penetration in the measuring wheel hole. The upper part of the frame is moved forwards to minimize the surface of the frame that is in contact with the trunk.

• This construction leads to less abraded bark getting stuck in the measuring wheel hole, which in turn provides better conditions for good measurement and fewer stops.

• The well-thought-out geometry of the saw box leads to the cutting being controlled, less saw bar fluttering in that it can be cycled out in a shorter time.

• The attachment of the saw unit to the frame and the choice of cylinder give the saw on the 3000T a long lever. This gives you good control of the cutting cycle and saves time.

• To increase the lifting force of the lower delimbing knife, the 3000T has a 40mm cylinder.

• The 3000T has an adjustable mechanical stop in the saw box to minimise wear on the saw cylinder.

• The mechanical stop has a damping function to reduce wear and strain on the saw cylinder. It also spares the frame and the components of the saw, all for better durability and longer life.

• The AFC system is our head's key technology and allows our heads to harvest trees with high precision and minimal friction.

• The goal of the AFC is to minimize the friction between the trunk and the frame, which leads to minimal wear on the unit and lower operating costs because the head doesn't use more power than necessary.

• The wood quality will also be high, as neither knives nor feed wheels need to use unnecessary force that damages the wood during processing.
